The Camas-Washougal Community Chest will hold its second annual Founders’ Dinner and Auction at 5 p.m. March 21 at The Black Pearl on the Columbia, 56 S. First Street, Washougal.

The CWCC will award 34 East Clark County nonprofit organizations with financial gifts, fundraising chair Susan Bennett said.

“The Camas-Washougal Community Chest unites neighbors, businesses, and civic leaders in a shared mission: supporting those in need and strengthening our community,” said CWCC President Andrew Gustely. “This event provides the funds critical for grantmaking to local nonprofits serving Camas and Washougal.”

In partnership with the Camas-Washougal Rotary Foundation and the Camas Lions Foundation, CWCC awarded $154,550 in 39 grants in 2025 to organizations that provide meals and shelter for families facing hunger and homelessness; emergency support for seniors, cancer patients and veterans; enrichment for students in STEM, literacy, arts and theater; environmental education and conservation efforts; crisis response for youth and at-risk individuals; and inclusive opportunities through equity-centered programming.
